    1. This was a different sort of Barbara Cartland romance, one with a bit of a mystery and intrigue. And limited stilted dialogue, so it didn't break my brain. Melina is working as a secretary in Morocco, and is dismissed out of jealousy. Insert eye-rolling here. Dame Barbara, your age is showing. But worry not, as her balcony is invaded by a dashing young man on the run. She gamely jumps to his rescue and they embark on a tale of intrigue and drama. Bing (Bing, really?) isn't very nice, but somehow [...]

    2. I think this is one of the first romances I ever read it was one of my mother's pocket books. The fact that I still remember parts of the story and the name of the heroine, Melina, shows how much I was engrossed by it. I remember Melina being in Morocco with her mean employer, Mrs. Schuster, who fired her. And then there was this dashing man on the balcony fleeing for the police and Melina helped him hide. There was an adventure in Morocco as Melina and Bing searched for a little boy. And in the [...]

    3. Suspense novel set in Tangier. Ending made me laugh a little. I knew that she would have to kill a character off to end up with a HEA and of course she did.
