    1. This wasn't that bad of a story, but I was really aggravated by the overall message. Mac and Jenny both acted like he had to choose between missions work and Jenny, as though it was completely ridiculous that he might TAKE JENNY WITH HIM. They never discussed this. And just - virtually every missionary I've ever met has been married?? They work together as a team?? Most missions boards seem to prefer the stability of a married couple??     2. A down to earth pastor, Mac Arnett, returns from the mission field to a sleepy West Virginia town to hopefully settle down for good. The church council was hoping for a married man to lead their flock, but Mac is a natural with other people; he’s approachable and easy to talk to, and he makes an effort to get to know others.
